Bay Area Foot Care is a Bay Area podiatry practice with 15 locations, seeking a medical assistant to support physicians and staff. You will greet patients, take vitals, assist with examinations, and maintain patient files and a clean, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.
• Certified Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• EMR experience; Athena is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on the phone and in person.
• Place patients in the exam rooms.
• Take vital signs of patients.
• Assist and set up for examination, treatment, and procedures.
• Keep accurate patient files.
• Apply dressing, bandages, and splints as ordered by podiatrist.
• Maintain a sanitized and safe working environment.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
