Ankle- is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our podiatry clinic, supporting physicians with patient prep, vitals, and front-office tasks. The role includes assisting procedures, injections, casting, X-rays, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma, and have Epic experience or Medical Assistant certification; at least one year of experience is preferred. Light travel to other offices may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification is preferred.
• Epic experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepares patients for examination by taking vitals and recording medical history.
• Escorts patients to and from exam rooms.
• Schedules surgeries and coordinates with surgical centers; prepares charts and forms.
• Assists physician with procedures and administers injections as directed.
• Casts for orthotics and applies below-knee casts.
• Perform X-ray assistance and document patient interactions.
• Dresses wounds, debridements, and nail care as needed.
• Maintains sterile instruments and hospital/clinic cleanliness.
• Performs basic data entry, phone triage, and diary of patient messages.
