St. Luke's University Health Network in Phillipsburg, NJ is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Podiatry practice. You will assist clinicians with pre-visit planning, record updates, vitals, patient preparation, and rooming.

You’ll support the care team by documenting notes, coordinating tests and referrals, and helping maintain clean, stocked exam rooms to ensure efficient patient visits. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of clinical experience or graduation

Formación

• High School degree or equivalent is required.
• One year of clinical experience or graduation from Medical Assistant program is required.
• Two years of experience in a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required or within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-visit planning by reviewing patient records and updating services.
• Complete pre-charting of value-based pieces up to five days prior to appointment.
• Prepare patients for examination: vitals, meds, allergies, and visit reason; escort to exam room.
• Maintain clean exam rooms, restock supplies, and process specimens/instruments per protocol.
• Communicate with Care Team regarding discharge, tests, and referrals; participate in quality initiatives.
