Job summary

Upperline Health, Inc. in Myrtle Beach is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians in delivering complex health services in the clinic setting.

You will work in our Myrtle Beach clinics, assisting with clinical and administrative tasks and contributing to high-quality patient care. Podiatry or orthopedic experience and x-ray skills are a plus, with EMR experience (athena) preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant experience required
• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred
• X-ray experience is a plus
• EMR experience, athena preferred
• Strong communication and patient service orientation
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for physician visits
• Complete exam intake by reviewing medical, social, surgical histories
• Ensure accurate charting for the physician
• Provide patient care under podiatric physician supervision and assist with x-rays
• Stock exam rooms and dispose of room waste daily
• Clean and sterilize exam and x-ray rooms daily
• Satisfy and document required MIPS quality measures
