Job summary

Cactus Foot and Ankle is seeking a Medical Assistant to support podiatry care in Chandler, AZ. You will prepare patients, assist during exams, take vital signs, and help maintain a clean, patient-centered environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior MA experience, EHR familiarity, strong communication, and reliability. This is a full-time, Mon-Fri position with 17–20 USD per hour and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and patient care support.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, confirm information, and prepare patients for appointments.
• Assist podiatry providers during exams and procedures as directed.
• Take and record vital signs and other clinical measurements.
• Prepare and restock exam rooms, instruments, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Document patient information accurately per clinic procedures.
• Support clinical team with patient intake tasks and basic admin coordination.
• Assist with medication and treatment preparation as allowed by policy.
• Schedule and confirm follow-up appointments per provider instructions.
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members for a positive experience.
• Handle patient inquiries professionally and escalate concerns as needed.
