Job summary

SSM Health Madison North High Point in Wisconsin is seeking a Regular, 32-hour per week position in the Podiatry department. The role supports examination and treatment in a clinic setting under RN or provider supervision. No nights, weekends, or holidays are required.

The position involves patient interviews, vital signs, basic clerical duties, and documentation of orders and tests, contributing to efficient clinic operations and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assists with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
• Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, scheduling patients, and filing.
• Transcribes patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Education

High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience

Wisconsin ONLY - High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience, and graduate from medical assistant school or training program or education equivalency for certification
