The position entails a 40-hour work week, day shifts, and opportunities for professional development within Mercyhealth’s system across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• RN license in Illinois; CPR/BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with the inter-disciplinary team.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per standards of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Educates patients and families to promote understanding and adherence.
