Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine and clinical experience
• Excellent knowledge of foot and ankle therapeutics and surgeries
• Ability to diagnose and treat lower extremity conditions

Responsibilities

• Examine patients' lower extremities to diagnose diseases
• Perform foot and ankle surgeries
• Treat sport-related foot and ankle injuries, like fractures
• Use podiatric techniques to treat deformities and ailments
• Prescribe joint pain relief medication and foot orthoses that improve mobility
• Review patient medical histories
• Advise patients on foot care and general wellness practices
• Order additional medical tests (X-rays, ultrasound, bone density tests, etc.) to form a better diagnosis if necessary
