Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Ability to diagnose foot and ankle conditions using patient history, exam, X-rays and labs.
• Completion of DPM degree with active state license.
• Two-year residency completed; BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Treat foot, ankle, and lower leg bone, muscle and joint disorders.
• Perform minor in-office surgeries (e.g., nail avulsion, abscess incision).
• Educate the public on foot care and prevention.
• Manage staff, records, and supplies; participate in hiring.
• Prescribe medications, devices, PT, or surgery as needed.
• Refer patients to other physicians for systemic issues.
