Job summary

Essen Health Care is looking for a licensed Podiatry Physician (DPM) or MD/DO to provide on-site podiatric care in nursing facilities in New York. In this role, you will diagnose and manage various foot and ankle disorders, perform essential procedures, and work with healthcare teams to enhance resident care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New York State license.
• DEA registration if applicable.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred.
• Experience in SNF/LTC or post-acute care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site podiatry consultations in SNF/LTC settings.
• Diagnose and manage foot and ankle disorders.
• Perform podiatric procedures as indicated.
• Evaluate gait abnormalities and mobility issues.
• Educate residents on foot hygiene and preventive care.
