Job summary

The MedServ Group, a rapidly growing medical practice, is seeking a Podiatrist to care for elderly residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will diagnose and treat foot and leg conditions, prescribe therapies, and refer surgeries when needed, all while focusing on compassionate patient care.

Ideal candidates hold a DPM with an active license and have 2+ years of clinical experience, plus strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) and active state license.
• 2 years plus experience in a clinic or hospital.
• Excellent knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremities.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Examining patient legs and feet to diagnose diseases.
• Treating foot and leg injuries such as fractures, corn and calluses.
• Referring out foot and ankle surgeries where necessary.
• Prescribing joint pain relief medication and foot orthoses to improve mobility.
• Advising patients on foot care and general wellness practices.
