Job summary

Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles, Inc. is seeking a Podiatrist in the General Medicine department. You will diagnose and treat diseases and deformities of the foot, prescribe medications and perform surgical interventions as needed.

Strong collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team is essential. Required qualifications include a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, California license, X-ray license, and Board certification or active pursuit thereof.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine required or preferred.
• California license and X-ray/fluoroscopy license required.
• Board qualified/certified with 3 years residency/fellowship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose foot diseases and deformities.
• Prescribe medications, devices, therapy, or surgery.
• Surgically treat foot/ankle conditions (bunions, nails, tumors, etc).
• Advise on treatments and foot care to prevent future problems.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team and hospital staff.
