Job summary

Balance Health seeks a qualified Podiatrist to join Foot and Ankle Specialists of West Michigan serving the Holland, MI community. Under the Chief Medical Officer, you will provide podiatric care, diagnose and treat foot/ankle conditions, and educate patients and teams.

Compensation includes a base salary of $150,000–$175,000 plus a plan based on experience. FT eligibility begins after 30 hours weekly, with 401(k) eligibility after 60 days and ongoing CME webinars and annual Balance Summit.

Qualifications

• Observe, assess, and accurately record symptoms and progress.
• Knowledge of legal/ethical standards in medical care.
• Diagnose and treat foot and ankle injuries and deformities.
• Identify problems and evaluate options to implement solutions.
• Strong communication with patients, colleagues, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Examine legs and feet to diagnose diseases and care needs.
• Treat disorders of feet and ankles including bone, muscle, and joints.
• Perform wound care management.
• Diagnose diseases using history, exams, x-rays, and tests.
• Prescribe medications, devices, physical therapy, or surgery as appropriate.
• Advise on treatment plans and prevention of future problems.
• Educate patients and health care teams.
• Maintain medical records for assigned patients.
