Job summary

HiredFirst seeks a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine for a 13-week contract in Oklahoma. Role includes foot and ankle surgeries, prescribing orthotics and therapeutic treatments for arthritic and traumatic foot conditions. Requires OK medical license, BLS/ACLS, and DEA/CDS registrations, with inpatient and outpatient care involved.

Work hours are M-F, 8am-4pm, with up to 35 pts/day in clinic and potential extension or permanent conversion.

Qualifications

• OK license required to practice medicine in Oklahoma.
• DEA registration required for controlled substances.
• CDS registration is required in addition to OK licensure.
• NO malpractice, no remedial plans or red flags.
• BC/ACGME/AOA residency training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot and ankle surgeries in clinic and hospital settings.
• Prescribe orthotics and apply therapeutic treatments for arthritis, fractures, corns and calluses.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient surgery, with inpatient consults and management.
• Primary focus on clinic and inpatient care; on-call as needed.

Podiatrist responsibilities include conducting foot and ankle surgeries, prescribing orthotics and applying therapeutic treatments for issues like arthritis, fractures and feet corn and calluses. To be considered for this role, you should have a doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine and practical experience in a clinic or hospital.
