Job summary

The MedServ Group is seeking a Podiatrist to join our team in a part-time capacity. The role focuses on elderly patient care in skilled nursing facilities, with compensation per visit or as a percentage of collections.

The incumbent will practice with flexibility in scheduling and patient load. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating foot and leg conditions, referring surgeries when needed, and advising on foot care and wellness.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) and active state license.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in a clinic or hospital.
• Excellent knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremities.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Examine feet and legs to diagnose diseases.
• Treat foot and leg injuries such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
• Refer out foot and ankle surgeries when necessary.
• Prescribe joint pain relief medication and foot orthoses to improve mobility.
• Advise patients on foot care and general wellness practices.

Paid by CPT Code or 35% - 40% of collections ($1100 - $1250 per visit).

The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing medical practice that provides residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities with top-of-the-line care. We are currently searching for a talented Podiatrist to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal Podiatrist is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly population

Podiatrist Responsibilities

• Examining patient legs and feet to diagnose diseases.
• Treating foot and leg injuries such as fractures, corn and calluses.
• Referring out foot and ankle surgeries where necessary.
• Prescribing joint pain relief medication and foot orthoses to improve mobility.
• Advising patients on foot care and general wellness practices.

Podiatrist Requirements

• 2 years plus experience in a clinic or hospital.
• Excellent knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremities.

Compensation and Benefits

• 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (typically 9:00AM-5:00PM). Flexible schedules also available.
• 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care
• Part Time Compensation Options: Paid by CPT Code or 35% - 40% of collections ($1100 - $1250 per visit).
• All doctors are 1099 (independent contractors)
