Responsibilities:

1. Provide specialized wound care to patients in various healthcare settings.
2. Assess and evaluate wounds to determine appropriate treatment plans.
3. Clean and dress wounds using aseptic technique.
4. Monitor and document wound healing progress.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans.
6. Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention strategies.
7. Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
8. Perform physical examinations to assess overall patient health.
9. Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Cerner, eClinicalWorks, and ICD-10 coding.

Skills:

2. Knowledge of acute care practices and protocols.
