The role requires a DPM, DEA license, long-term care experience, and willingness to travel between facilities. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations of patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases and conditions.
• Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
• Prescribe medications for joint pain and prescribe foot orthoses to improve mobility.
• Offer guidance on foot care and overall wellness; order additional tests as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Podiatrist to join our team. As a Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities. Responsibilities

• Performed examinations on patients’ legs and feet to identify and diagnose various diseases and conditions.
• Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
• Recommend and prescribe medication for relieving joint pain and suggest foot orthoses to enhance mobility and alleviate discomfort.
• Offer guidance and advice to patients regarding foot care and overall wellness practices.Request additional medical tests as necessary based on the initial assessments.

Requirements

• Travel between assigned facilities required
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Bending/stooping. Lifting/moving patients.
