Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly Podiatrist to join our team in Brockton, MA, primarily serving residents in long-term care facilities. This is a part-time role (2 days per week) with a focus on comprehensive foot and ankle care.

You will diagnose conditions, treat injuries, and advise on foot health while collaborating with a dedicated care team. A DPM degree and DEA license are required, with prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree is required.
  • DEA license is required.
  • Experience in long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform examinations of patients' feet and legs to diagnose diseases and conditions.
  • Treat foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
  • Prescribe medications for joint pain and suggest foot orthoses to improve mobility.
  • Advise patients on foot care and overall wellness practices.
  • Order additional tests as needed based on assessments.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Podiatrist to join our team. As a Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities. Responsibilities
  • Performed examinations on patients’ legs and feet to identify and diagnose various diseases and conditions.
  • Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
  • Recommend and prescribe medication for relieving joint pain and suggest foot orthoses to enhance mobility and alleviate discomfort.
  • Offer guidance and advice to patients regarding foot care and overall wellness practices.
  • Request additional medical tests as necessary based on the initial assessments.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
  • DEA License
  • Long-term care experience
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
