Qualifications

• DPM degree from an accredited program and completion of an approved residency.
• Current, unrestricted Ohio podiatric license (or eligibility) and board certification or eligibility.

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with a part-time schedule.

Integrity Foot and Ankle Associates is a patient-centered phsician owned podiatry practice dedicated to providing comprehensive foot and ankle care to the community with 3 offices, located in Avon, Elyria, and Lorain, OH.

Dr. Wenowitz spent years as an architect before he changed course, started the path in 2010, and in 2019 I opened Integrity Foot & Ankle Associates.

Three offices in Lorain County now. Conservative care first, surgery only when it's genuinely the right answer.

We are looking for a non-surgical podiatrist to join us.

Not a rotating locum slot, and not a role where you're handed a full panel on day one and left to it. It starts at about 2-3 days a week and grows from there with one in one supoort from the owner. You build a panel with our staff, billing and supplies behind you, you don't carry the overhead, and if you want full-time, the pathway is built in. It suits a resident finishing up, an established DPM who wants a lighter schedule, and a practice owner who's thinking about stepping back from ownership without walking away from patients.

We are happy to put something in writing for a podiatrist who brings an existing panel: we recognize your ongoing relationship with current patients. Patients always choose their own care, that part isn't mine or yours to decide, but patients who come with you shouldn't feel like they've been absorbed by a machine.

Role Description

This is part-time with future growth to full time, on-site Podiatrist role is based in Lorain County, OH and involves providing direct clinical care to patients with a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic podiatric issues, performing minor in-office procedures, and managing follow-up care. The Podiatrist will develop treatment plans that may include biomechanical assessments, orthotic prescriptions, wound care, and diabetic foot management. Additional tasks include documenting encounters in the medical record, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, educating patients on prevention and self-care, and participating in practice quality improvement and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in Medicine and Podiatry, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of foot and ankle conditions.
• Knowledge of Biomechanics and Orthotics for evaluation of gait and alignment and prescription of appropriate supportive devices.
• Experience managing Diabetes-related foot and ankle issues, including prevention, risk assessment, and wound care.
• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution and completion of an approved residency program.
• Current, unrestricted podiatric medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Ohio and applicable board certification or board eligibility.
• Strong diagnostic, procedural, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to respectful, inclusive, and culturally competent patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage a part-time schedule with reliability and professionalism.
