Qualifications

• Degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with appropriate certification and licensure is required.
• DPM license required - active license preferred or the ability to obtain within applicable timeframe.
• Possession of DEA registration or eligibility required.
• CPR certification expected, and consistent the requirements of the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Assess lower extremity complaints, review medical history, and develop a care plan.
• Provide comprehensive foot and ankle care including at-risk foot care and trauma management.
• Perform surgical services within scope, education, and experience.
• Educate patients and families on foot care and preventive health measures.
• Maintain medical records in compliance with state regulations and company standards.
