Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide foot and ankle care in our Cockeysville and Bel Air clinics. Staff membership at the hospital is expected, with a high-volume patient panel to start.

You will assess lower extremity conditions, perform exams, order imaging, and formulate a comprehensive plan of care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role supports ongoing professional development and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• DPM degree with licensure required.
• Active DPM license or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• DEA registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assess lower extremity complaints, review medical history, perform a physical examination, order imaging or labs, and develop a plan of care.
• Provide care for foot and ankle conditions including at-risk foot care, trauma, wound care and surgical management when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families about foot care, general wellness, medication usage, side effects, and adherence.
• Maintain patient medical records in compliance with state regulations and Upperline Health standards.
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Prescribe medication as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
