Job Responsibilities
About the Podiatric Physician

Upperline Health seeks a well-trained Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide foot and ankle care at our clinic in Russell Springs, KY. This role covers a full spectrum of foot and ankle medicine, from comprehensive examinations to surgical, non-surgical, and biomechanical management of conditions. Compassion, attention to detail, and collaboration are essential qualities.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Providing services in a clinic setting and maintaining hospital staff membership.
  • Assessing patients' lower extremity complaints, reviewing medical histories, performing physical exams, ordering imaging or labs, and developing treatment plans.
  • Offering comprehensive foot and ankle care, including at-risk foot management, trauma, wound care, and surgical interventions when appropriate.
  • Performing surgical procedures based on scope, training, and experience.
  • Educating patients and families on foot care, wellness, medication use, and prevention.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation per regulations and company standards.
  • Participating in continuing education as required by licensing boards.
  • Prescribing medications within legal scope.
  • Performing other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Experience and Qualifications
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree with appropriate certification and licensure.
  • Active state license or the ability to obtain one within the required timeframe.
  • Board qualified or certified by ABPM and/or ABFAS in forefoot, rearfoot, or RRA specialties.
  • Strong compassion for patients and their families.
  • DEA registration or eligibility.
  • CPR certification as per state requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.
Working Hours

Monday-Friday, full-time.
