KQED Inc. is offering a paid Podcast Operations and Engagement Internship in a hybrid role based in San Francisco.

The intern will support planning, scripting, filming and editing short-form videos for social platforms, while contributing to cross-promotional activities and audience engagement. This internship provides hands-on exposure to podcast metrics, promotional planning, and collaboration with production teams and executives, in a flexible 16-hour weekly schedule from January 19, 2027

Qualificações

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Some experience with video and/or audio editing software.
• Proficiency with Google Drive apps (Sheets/Docs/Slides).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Independent thinker who works well in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Engagement Producer with planning, scripting, filming and editing of short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms.
• Assist with creating and producing social media assets including thumbnails, graphics, carousels, and other visual content.
• Write promotional copy for internal and external collaborators.
• Produce promotional audio material.
• Assist with trafficking and distribution of promos and other audio content.
• Attend meetings and support other engagement activities as needed.
