Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking an Office Lab Consultant to oversee Point of Care Testing (POCT) across physician offices, ensuring CLIA compliance, QA, and high-quality lab operations. The role includes policy development, staff training, and maintenance of QC programs to support accurate clinical testing.

The successful candidate will lead onboarding, implement testing SOPs, monitor proficiency testing, and collaborate with LIS teams to ensure patient test results are reliable and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Biological, or Chemical Science.
• 4 years of relevant experience in the Clinical Laboratory.
• MT(ASCP) or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of POCT testing and compliance with CLIA requirements.
• Develops policies and safety manuals for POCT operations.
• Trains POCT personnel and ensures competency.
• Maintains QC/QA programs and proficiency testing.
