Position: PNW PACE In-Home Caregiver

Details:

  • FTE: 1.0
  • Shift: Days
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

This position involves working primarily in participants' homes, performing homecare tasks including support with ADLs and general homemaking.

About PACE: The Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a national plan providing all-inclusive medical, social, and personal care to seniors who wish to remain in the community and avoid nursing home placement. Our vision is to offer high-value, compassionate, and equitable healthcare, prioritizing participants and enabling them to stay safely in their communities. Employees serve participants both at the PACE Center and in their homes, providing team-based care.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $5000 sign-on bonus with a 24-month commitment to MultiCare (requires 1 year of experience)

Position Summary:

Provide assistance to professional staff, work with leadership and program staff to carry out daily activities, implement program processes, and communicate effectively with team members, participants, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and facilitate group activities
  • Provide bathroom, transfer, mealtime, and ambulation assistance
  • Assist with noontime meal preparation and cleanup
  • Communicate with team members, participants, rehab professionals, and families

Requirements:

  • Current BLS and First Aid certification
  • Current food handler's permit
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting working with the elderly
