Booz Allen in El Segundo, CA is seeking a PNT Chief Engineer to lead systems architecture and integration for Space Force programs. You will architect, develop, test, and deploy space and ground capabilities, and work with senior stakeholders to mitigate risks.

The role requires 15+ years in DoD programs, a BS in Engineering, TS clearance, and MBSE/ GPS experience. You will communicate tradeoffs to government leaders and guide teams across governance boards.

PNT Chief Engineer

The Opportunity: As a senior engineer on our team, you’ll work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force to architect, develop, rapidly deploy, and integrate the next generation of resilient space, ground, and user capabilities across the Space Enterprise to deter attacks and provide critical capabilities to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Your customer will trust you to not only architect, engineer, integrate, test and deploy these systems, but also identify areas requiring urgent mitigation up front and early to develop this system with advanced technology solutions. You will perform systems architecture, engineering and integration leadership in support of enterprise reviews and governance boards, as well as analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with executive leaders and stakeholders to implement recommended solutions. You Have:

• 15+ years of experience executing DoD Acquisition Programs or managing DoD weapons systems
• 5+ years of experience in aligning architectural decisions with mission objectives, user needs, and long-term technical strategy
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to communicate architectural tradeoffs, alternatives, and impacts to senior Government stakeholders
• Knowledge of systems architecture and engineering frameworks
• Ability to be highly motivated with a dynamic work ethic and strong desire to contribute to the DoD mission
• Ability to be comfortable with daily interactions at the executive leadership level
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Nice If You Have:

• 10+ years of experience with Position Navigation and Timing weapon systems such as Global Positioning System (GPS)
• 10+ years of experience with working on advanced Space Force programs and systems
• Experience practicing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Possession of strong leadership, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Master's degree in a STEM field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
