Job summary

Perfect North Slopes in Lawrenceburg, IN is seeking a Lift/Gate Attendant for the 2026-2027 season. You will help ensure safe uphill transport, oversee loading/unloading, and verify guests have valid lift tickets at entry gates.

Role requires strong guest service, clear communication, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Training includes safety protocols, logs, and basic tech devices; the position offers seasonal hours and wage progression with experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old by 11/1/2026.
• No prior experience required.
• Background check required for employees age 18+.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to walk on varied ground surfaces, shovel snow, and stay on feet for most of shift (up to 9 hours).
• Willingness to work early/late shifts, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate lifts and monitor loading/unloading at lift entry points.
• Provide a positive guest experience and serve as an ambassador for Perfect North Slopes.
• Maintain lift logs and communicate safety concerns using radios/tablets/phones.
• Work well in a team with lift attendants, gate operators, and managers.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to the established code of conduct.

Lift/Gate Attendant Seasonal Position 2026-2027 Perfect North Slopes

Lift Operations staff play an important role in the daily business at Perfect North Slopes. Primary responsibilities include ensuring the safe uphill transport of all guests, by monitoring the safe loading and unloading of the lift, and confirming all guests have a valid lift ticket via our entry gates. Lift Operations staff members should have good interpersonal skills, be able to communicate in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with the public, and be able to use simple technology systems.

Responsibilities:

• Safety:Ensure the safe and efficient operation of lifts at lift entry points, including maintaining ramps, keeping the working area free of hazards, using speed controls and stop the lift when necessary to assist the guest while loading and unloading.
• Customer Service:The Lift Operations staff are in constant communication with our guests, and are expected to provide a positive experience for visitors. All staff must communicate clearly, while maintaining composure in complex situations, and be welcoming when assisting guests. Lift and gate operators are expected to be ambassadors for Perfect North Slopes and abide to the code of conduct.
• Communication:Keep accurate lift logs, use radios, tablet devices and telephones to communicate with other staff and managers about safety concernsas needed. Be able to work well in a team environment with other lift attendants, gate operators, and managers.
• Professionalism: Behave professionally and maintain a positive attitude, while abiding to the code of conduct established at Perfect North Slopes.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old by 11/1/2026 to apply.
• No prior experience is required.
• All employees age 18+ will complete a background check upon hire.
• Lift Operations staff should be ready to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Lift Operations staff must be able to walk on varied ground surfaces, shovel snow, and be on their feet for most of their shift (up to 9 hours).
• Willingness to work early/late shifts, weekends, and some holidays (Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, New Years Day, MLK Day, President’s Day) is preferred.

Pay Rate:

• $15 per hour
• Employees may receive a pay raise with each year of experience working at Perfect North Slopes.
