Qualifications

  • 1-2 years min. of Aircraft Pneumatics Components Maintenance experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to read OEM Schematics, Technical Instructions/Diagrams, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and other documents.
  • Familiar with CFRs and airworthiness inspection practices.
  • Proficient in using inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
  • Airframe & Powerplant License - preferable but not mandatory.

The Pneumatic Technician is a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance of high-quality standards while adhering to GAT processes. Based in Miami, Florida, this position is responsible for the repair and overhaul of pneumatic and electrically operated aircraft components.
**Important Notice**: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Disassembly of Pneumatic units
  • Inspection of Pneumatic units
  • Assembly of Pneumatic units
  • Testing Pneumatic units
  • Locate and repair Pneumatic components.
  • Reads, understands andinterprets directions of appropriate maintenance manuals to identify.
Qualifications:
  • 1 - 2 years min. of Aircraft Pneumatics Components Maintenance experience or equivalent Understanding of and abilities in calibrating/ troubleshooting pneumatic components
  • Capable and comfortable at assimilating new or different pneumatic (and other accessories) capabilities Capable and comfortable using OEM Schematics, Technical Instructions/Diagrams, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), and other documents such as Reliability Work Scopes, Best Practices, and Customer EO'S Willingness to assist engineering development within related technologies, as required Possess knowledge of AC / DC
  • Is thoroughly familiar with the applicable CFRs and with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of the article on which maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations are being performed.
  • Is proficient in using various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids appropriate for the articles being inspected and approved for service return.
  • Airframe & Powerplant License - preferable but not mandatory
