Description

In this exciting role you will be responsible for:

  1. Lab validation system design and development using circuits such as LDO, Buck, ADC, DAC, Op-AMP, FPGA etc., and control interface like I2C, SPI, SPMI, etc.
  2. Circuit design, schematic, analysis, layout, and review in a PCB environment.
  3. Knowledge of signal and power integrity (PDN analysis) is preferred.
  4. Hands-on lab experience with hardware bring-up and debug.
  5. Drive the debug and resolution of engineering issues working with cross-functional teams.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement of a Bachelors Degree (preferably in a relevant field - EE).
Preferred Qualifications
  • MSEE preferred.
  • Experience with hardware development from specification to bring up and downstream support.
  • Skilled at component development and selection for schematics design.
  • Ability to design or guide high quality PCB layouts into fabrication.
  • Prior experience using CAD tools such as Cadence Allegro, Altium, etc for multi-layer board layout is desired.
  • Familiarity with microcontroller/FPGA/logic design and programming.
  • Skillful in an electronics lab environment using real time oscilloscopes, analyzers, function generators, automation hardware, power supplies, and electronic loads.
  • Familiarity with challenges relating to power quality, high-speed signal integrity and control interface.
  • Coding or automation experience in Python is a plus.
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills focused on teamwork and collaboration in a dynamic cross-functional environment.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $183,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
