Job summary

PMA Consultants is seeking an experienced PMT Director to lead an integrated owner's Project Management Team for a large, multi-year capital project at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This position provides overall leadership and accountability for delivery of a systems-intensive catering and industrial facility using Progressive Design-Build.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience managing large, complex capital projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Business.
• Demonstrated leadership of Progressive Design-Build on complex projects.
• Experience delivering projects within active airports or similarly constrained environments.
• Knowledge of airport land-lease requirements, permitting, and CEQA/FAA coordination.
• Experience with commissioning, operational readiness and transition, and cutover.
• PE, RA, PMP, CCM, or equivalent credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated PMT through the full project lifecycle from mobilization to closeout.
• Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan and PM Plan with governance and change control.
• Provide leadership for PMT staffing, subconsultants, performance, quality, and continuity.
• Exercise delegated authority and escalate reserved matters for timely decisions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including real estate, operations, catering, IT, security, legal, and authorities.
• Identify cost/schedule risks and develop decision-ready mitigation options.
• Lead executive-level reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee readiness through commissioning, transition, and cutover and final go/no-go.
• Represent the project team in proposals, interviews, and case studies as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
