ProSidian Seeks a PMP Project Support and Design Specialist to support an engagement for The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) within The Veteran’s Health Administrations (VHA) that focuses on essential VA emergency medical response and support services at the local, regional, and national levels to ensure the health and safety of our Veteran patients and their families, staff, and visitors, and continued delivery of VHA health care services.
The candidate shall serve as the expert resource leading the Office of Emergency Management leadership and staff to develop specific targets, metrics, and action plans for each objective in support the development and creation of a specific, measurable Three-Year Strategic Plan.
Furthermore, the candidate shall assist in developing plans and specifying measurable outcomes, KPIs in a consolidated strategic planning process and prioritizes those initiatives.
Have a strong understanding of federal government business operations and work process.
BS/BA degree in related field (or equivalent) plus approximately 5 years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Establish criteria to evaluate and assess progress, maintaining project design with legislation, regulations, and other guidance documents.
- Work with Office of Emergency Management leadership and senior staff to develop a tracking and reporting framework for near ‘real time’ tracking progress against each goal and objective.
- Monitor progress of projects utilizing timelines and benchmarks, documenting completions of goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques needed to develop and support complex national emergency preparedness missions.
- Good knowledge of COOP plans and procedures; analytical and evaluative methods for how regulatory programs are administered to emergency management programs.
- Ability to evaluate and interpret legislation for projected impact on programs and resources exemplifying working knowledge of Operational Security (OPSEC).
- Possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and support project teams and program managers and provide daily execution assigned work functions.
- Must have strong presentation skills and be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing to support a myriad of standard services required across the department.

- Business Tools – understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
