Title: Project Manager
Location: Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid: 2 days/week)

The primary objective of this engagement is to serve as the IT Project Manager for the Bureau of Community Health Systems (BCHS), leading the implementation of an EHR for 59 SHCs and clinical staff in BCHS, the Bureau of Immunizations (BOI), and the Bureau of Communicable Diseases (BCD).
The Project Manager is a 'senior' level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in EHRs, health informatics, and health IT. The PM will have proven experience leading large-scale projects to successful implementation and experience with planning around organizational change management (OCM).
Requirements
- The successful candidate will have experience with the implementation of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system where the customer was employing a paper-based charting system.
- Possess Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification for a minimum of 5 years.
- Must currently reside in PA.
- Be able to work in the Harrisburg office two (2) days a week as requested.
- Participate with Program Office staff in off-site meetings (i.e., State Health Centers), if required/requested.
- Seven (7) to nine (9) years of relevant Project Management experience proving they have/can perform the role effectively.
- Experience with organizational change management (OCM) with independent customers is preferred.
- Experience with EHR and/or EMR, health informatics, and health IT.
- Directs, administers, manages, and facilitates enhancement(s), re-engineering of a business process(es) for a developmental project.
- Ultimately responsible for the HHS DOH program implementation. The PM's primary responsibility is to drive the entire effort from start to finish. The PM must ensure that the project is completed on schedule, within the defined budget and that the final product meets the business, technical, and established quality requirements.

Skill Required
- Manage the implementation of a new EHR system, and transition from system implementation to program operations and maintenance
- Lead, plan, execute, and monitor all project activities for EHR implementation including project planning and execution, and governance.
- Accountable for delivery of all work tasks identified in the Project Management Plan and Project Schedule.
- 'Active' PMP Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) for at least '5' years.
- Manage technical initiatives with a complement of project team members throughout the various IT areas, technical complexity, and vendor involvment for 7 years.
