Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, FL, seeks a Manager, PMO Training, Development & Certification to lead the design, governance, and ongoing improvement of the PMO training and certification program for the NGS Project Execution Department.

You will oversee curriculum development, certification standards, competency progression, and performance reporting, coordinating with Project Operations, HR, and other stakeholders to enable Deputy PMs through Principal PMs to excel in project

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, PM, or related field with 7+ years’ experience in PMO/training.
Ability to read and interpret business docs; write reports and procedures.
Strong analytical skills and competency in project controls and governance.
Proficient in MS Office; familiar with SAP, CAD, databases, and project scheduling software.

Responsibilities

Lead PMO training, certification, and development governance across the project manager pipeline.
Develop and maintain a standardized training and certification program aligned with ISO 9001.
Coach and manage staff delivering training, certification, onboarding, and reporting.
Collaborate with HR and Project Operations to integrate training modules and tracking.
Assess skill gaps and design learning paths for Deputy PMs to Principal PMs.
Provide regular status updates and analytics on program performance.
Ensure consistency and credibility of certification criteria and recertification.
Foster continuous improvement and alignment with strategic goals.
