Qualifications

Clarity Partners is seeking a PMO Technical Liaison local to Chicago, IL. The PMO Technical Liaison will manage complex healthcare projects from concept through completion, developing project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, communication plans, risk and issue logs, status reports, and performance metrics. This role will collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and financial leadership to improve processes, implement clinical care redesign initiatives, and support continuous improvement efforts across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management experience, healthcare knowledge, and the ability to lead multiple cross-functional project teams in a complex environment. This position will report in an onsite setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects from concept through completion, including project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, communication plans, risk and issue logs, status reports, and performance metrics.
• Lead and manage multiple project teams focused on improving clinical and operational processes.
• Develop and implement risk management plans, including risk identification, impact analysis, resolution, tracking, documentation, and communication.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, operational, and Finance leadership to implement clinical care redesign initiatives.
• Partner with clinical and operational teams to establish and embed effective clinical and operational best practices.
• Work with hospital-based services to identify, develop, and implement high-functioning, role-based workflows.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care by providing training and guidance on data utilization and process improvement.
• Educate and support teams in the use of Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) or similar quality improvement methodologies to drive practice transformation and stronger clinical management.
• Track performance against established targets using dashboards and other reporting tools.
• Analyze performance data and trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate findings and recommended actions to leadership.
• Maintain and communicate performance dashboards for hospital-based services.
• Ensure programs and initiatives are implemented consistently with approved designs, organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects and ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and current.
• Develop and execute change management activities to support successful adoption of project initiatives, including communication, training, and documentation.
• Conduct process capacity, capability, and gap analyses to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Effectively communicate project requirements, progress, risks, issues, and outcomes to sponsors, stakeholders, project teams, and leadership.
• Deliver presentations and project information to stakeholders as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time professional experience in healthcare administration or project management.
• Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience facilitating clinical quality improvement initiatives within a teaching hospital.
• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Project or a comparable project management tool.
• Lean Six Sigma training or certification.
• Thorough knowledge of project management methodologies, including planning and tracking project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, risks, and performance.
• Experience with operational clinical redesign and healthcare process improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, PDSA, or Systems Theory.
• Strong knowledge of business operations with experience leading cross-functional project teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex issues using research, data, and analytical techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop project documentation and deliver presentations to sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple complex projects at different stages simultaneously.
• Ability to lead diverse project teams consisting of internal employees, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification preferred.
• Certification in healthcare quality and/or patient safety preferred.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission requirements preferred.
• Coursework or additional education in healthcare administration or medical office management preferred.
• Finance experience and prior experience driving organizational change in a complex environment preferred.

Clarity is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For the PMO Technical Liaison, the base salary pay range is $145,000–$160,000. The range represents a good faith estimate that Clarity reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of posting. Compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
