Job summary

Amentum is seeking a logistics professional to perform a range of logistics support tasks across planning, maintenance, supply, and transportation domains. You will prepare reports, assist with test evaluations, and help maintain logistics policies and procedures in a collaborative office environment.

The role involves interfacing with customers, analytical work, and potential supervision of entry-level staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Logistics or related field and at least 1 year of job-related experience or equivalent.
• Good communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze problems and determine logistics requirements with minimal supervision.
• Interface with customers to define and report status of routine tasks.
• Review reports, drawings, specifications, procedures and assist with tests/evaluations; provide comments and impacts.
• Prepare routine correspondence, charts, spreadsheets, Gantt charts, and analytical reports.
• Maintain logistics support planning, policy, and procedures documents.
• Support logistics element tasks.
• May supervise and train entry-level personnel in the technical aspects of assigned work.
