Job Description

Trinity Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMNR) Physician to join our dedicated Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing patient recovery and improving functional outcomes for individuals with physical impairments or disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans for patients with diverse physical and functional challenges.
  • Implement evidence-based rehabilitation techniques to facilitate patient recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and strategies for maintaining long-term health and function.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and enhancement of rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • Experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
