TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced PMHNP for a full-time, permanent outpatient primary care role across rural eastern North Carolina, including Enfield, Whitakers, Jackson, Scotland Neck and Rich Square.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developing evidence-based treatment plans, prescribing psychotropic medications, coordinating with primary care teams, and providing crisis intervention as needed.

Competenze

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
• Current licensure as a PMHNP.
• Active, unrestricted North Carolina APRN license.
• Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience in a clinical setting.
• Primary care experience preferred.
• Ability to work full-time onsite across assigned clinic locations.

Mansioni

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications for a range of mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, social workers, and other clinical team members to coordinate integrated patient care.
• Conduct follow-up evaluations and monitor treatment effectiveness and adherence.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment options, medication adherence, and coping strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention, support, and stabilization for patients experiencing suicidal ideation, aggressive behavior, or other acute psychiatric distress.
• Coordinate emergency care and ongoing treatment as clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional, ethical, confidentiality, and legal standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, public education, and efforts to improve mental healthcare in rural communities.
