The PMHNP performs evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care in outpatient settings, with emphasis on safe prescribing and patient engagement across interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• PMHNP-BC board certification required.
• Unrestricted APRN license in the practicing state.
• DEA number and other prescribing credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnoses.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with therapists and other providers as part of an integrated care model.
• Oversee staff technicians for TMS where applicable.
