Job summary

Arundel Lodge is seeking a compassionate PMHNP to join our Clinic team. The Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, crisis intervention, and counseling to clients and their families, delivering care in a recovery-oriented, person-centered model.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or related field appropriate to the role.
• Current PMHNP/CRNP-PMH certification.
• Current and unrestricted Maryland licensure and certifications to practice.
• Certification as a Behavioral Health specialist.
• Current Buprenorphine prescribing authorization.
• Board eligibility or certification where applicable.
• Experience with diverse client populations including children to older adults.
• Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses and evidence-based treatment.
• Knowledge of therapy principles (individual, group, family).
• Competency in medication management and clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric diagnosis, medication management, and medical treatment.
• Conduct routine and emergency psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement strategies.
• Support continuity of care with community providers.
• Participate in treatment planning and recovery-oriented interventions.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately within required timeframes.
• Monitor laboratory testing, medications, and related procedures.
• Maintain compliance with policies, licensing, and regulations.
• Communicate with clients, families, and coworkers.
• Participate in meetings and quality care activities.
• Provide rotating after-hours coverage as needed.
