MindCare Solutions is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team in West Plains, MO. This full-time role includes hospital rounding, ED and inpatient consults, and comprehensive psychiatric care from evaluation to treatment planning.

The ideal candidate is MO-licensed PMHNP with DEA registration; inpatient psychiatry experience is preferred. Relocation up to $15,000 and a robust benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified PMHNP in Missouri is required.
• DEA registration is required.
• Inpatient psychiatry experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including medication management and therapy options.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality psychiatric care.
• Prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as necessary.
• Perform daily rounds in a designated hospital unit to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond promptly to ED and IP consult requests with expert assessments.
• Monitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize outcomes and minimize side effects.
• Implement therapeutic techniques addressing a wide range of conditions.
• Educate residents and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Promote mental health awareness and wellness among residents.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance services.
