Psych Health Associates seeks a dedicated PMHNP to provide psychiatric care across multiple facilities in Tampa, Bradenton, and Brandon, Florida. The role offers autonomy within an experienced physician-led group and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and patient education, with collaboration among facility staff and supervising physicians.

Qualifications

• Active State of Florida APRN license in good standing.
• National Board Certification as PMHNP.
• DEA license required.
• 1 year of psychiatric experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, record patient histories, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and facility staff.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and psychiatric conditions.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
• Participate in case reviews, consultations, and ongoing care coordination.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
• Additional duties as assigned.
