Job summary

Spectrum Medical Partners is seeking a PMHNP to provide psychiatric care across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the Tampa Bay area. You will work autonomously within a physician-led group, delivering patient-centered care and collaborating with facility staff to optimize outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida APRN license and PMHNP certification, with DEA license, EMR experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida APRN license in good standing.
• National PMHNP board certification.
• DEA license required.
• Post-acute care experience required.
• 1 year psychiatric experience preferred (training available).
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, record patient histories, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and facility staff.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and psychiatric conditions.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
• Participate in case reviews, consultations, and ongoing care coordination.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
• Additional duties as assigned
