Gadzoom is seeking a highly qualified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Psychiatry Department. The role involves clinical assessment, patient management, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary health team across Salt Lake County, Utah.

Candidates should be licensed in Utah or eligible to attain licensure, with at least 1 year of post-acute experience preferred. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow, with liability insurance covered

Qualifications

• Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Utah state licensure or eligibility.
• Ability to attain unrestricted state license.
• 1 year post-acute experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment and appropriately manage patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate.
• Performs procedures as trained and appropriately credentialed.
• Complete accurate and timely progress notes and admission/transfer orders.
• Educates patient on disease and treatment plans.
• Report to the Director of Behavioral Health and assigned Medical Director.
