Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a licensed healthcare professional (FNP/PMH-NP or PA-C) to join our Eastern Shore residential program. You will provide medical monitoring, update orders, and collaborate with medical, clinical, and UR teams to coordinate care for clients in treatment.

Required credentials include an unrestricted Maryland license, Federal DEA certification, CPR, and 1 year of substance use disorder or psychiatry experience.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Maryland license (MD) for FNP/PMH-NP or PA-C.
• Federal DEA certification for controlled substances.
• CPR certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience in substance use disorder, psychiatry, or mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create individual medical care treatment plans and provide medical monitoring/management for each client.
• Provide quality medical care to stabilize patients and enable engagement in treatment.
• Update pharmacy orders, create UDS, med and lab orders, and review UDS and lab results.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and UR teams for coordinated care.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all medical interventions, consultations, and directives.
