Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as PMHNP or FNP with MAT Certification.
• Certification as PMHNP or FNP with MAT by ANCC or AANP.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with monitoring and education.
• Provide psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing).
• Monitor progress and manage side effects with follow-up appointments.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment options, and resources.
• Document encounters and treatment plans accurately in EHR.
