Family Care Center in Gilbert, AZ is recruiting a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to lead outpatient psychiatric care. You will assess, diagnose, plan, and prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
• At least one year of PMHNP experience preferred.
• Current licensed practitioner in the state with active DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Performs psychiatric diagnostic evaluations to determine diagnoses and care plans for mental health patients.
• Provide psychiatric/medical services within applicable professional standards and licensing requirements.
• Maintain timely, complete, accurate medical records for all patients.
• Perform timely clinical and billing documentation compliant with regulations and coding standards.
• Prescribe and monitor pharmacologic treatments and adjust plans as needed.
• Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with physicians for complex cases.
