The Advanced Practice Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) is responsible for the psychiatric and related medical services of the assigned participants within our outpatient practice. The Advanced Practice Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) is responsible for the psychiatric and related medical services of the assigned members. The contract position will actively engage in the provision of culturally responsive, integrative services as well as support and/or participate in initiatives designed to foster and promote integrated service delivery.
We can teach anyone how to be a good clinician, but we can’t teach personality. The “right fit” for SHARE would be someone who:
Licensed in the State of Florida in respective practice with no pending actions by respective board in State of Florida or other state; eligible for Board certification; and valid DEA certification.
Have a current unencumbered license to practice and to prescribe medications in the State of Florida.
Two (2) years or more experience post PMHNP licensure in the delivery of mental health services with children/adolescents/adults.
Willingness to participate in trainings and continuing education.
Certification in first aid and CPR.
Possess valid drivers license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card and successful completion of a background check.

In-depth knowledge of psychiatric and co-occurring disorders, DSM-5, ICD-10 codes, psychotropic medications, and crisis intervention.
Familiarity with community-based behavioral health services (preferred).
Strong customer service skills, maintaining positive relationships with members and families.
Effective written and verbal communication, especially in sensitive situations.
Problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in electronic medical records software, general computer usage, and office equipment.
Highly skilled in Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Google Meets) and internet navigation.
Extensive experience in providing outpatient therapy for diverse mental health concerns.
Proficient in diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Strong grasp of therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, trauma-informed approaches), tailored to client needs.
Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and rapport-building with clients.
Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and non-judgmental approach towards individuals seeking mental health support.
Effective caseload management, prioritizing client needs and meeting documentation requirements.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems and adeptness in clinical documentation technology.
Commitment to continuous professional development, staying updated on best practices in mental health.
This is a 1099 contract position to start. We are growing rapidly and project being able to offer full salary and benefits to employees who are interested in switching from contract to salary. Our goal for this offering is the end of 2024.
