Job summary

Sunshine Behavioral Health in Rochester, MN seeks a Psychiatric Provider to deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and medication management across detoxification, residential, PHP, and IOP services.

Required licensure (PMHNP/NP/PA), CAQH, and DEA; 2–5 years in behavioral health preferred. On-site schedule with on-call coverage and a strong, compassionate team culture.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as PMHNP, NP, or PA.
• Active CAQH profile.
• Current DEA registration.
• 2–5 years in behavioral health or related settings preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments.
• Provide medication management within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with Medical Director on complex cases and protocols.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and discharge planning.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment plans.
