Job summary

Ampelis Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Murray, Utah to join our network of outpatient integrative psychiatry clinics. You will provide tailored treatment plans, medication management, and psychotherapy in a holistic care model with a multidisciplinary team focused on mental wellness.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license.
• Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Proficiency in patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Knowledge of Basic Life Support protocols.
• Familiarity with ICD-9 coding and documentation.
• Experience in a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) setting is preferred.
• Ability to administer IV infusions.
• Understanding of workers' compensation laws related to mental health claims.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

In this role, you will get to work in a mental wellness clinic that offers patients so much more than your average clinic. We believe that treating severe depression, anxiety, treatment-resistant depression, OCD, PTSD, or other serious mental health issues is vastly important and should be done in a holistic way. We help patients conquer these conditions through the latest in psychiatric treatment, including medication management, nutrition, therapy, mindfulness, lifestyle and behavior habits, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). These interventions are invaluable in helping patients achieve better mental health.
