PMC: Manager, Programmatic Sales - Chicago

Join Penske Media Corporation as a Manager of Programmatic Sales in Chicago. This role is remote, with reporting to the VP of Programmatic Sales, and focuses on expanding PMC’s digital programmatic revenue through existing relationships and new prospects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with agencies, trading desks, and advertisers controlling programmatic budgets nationally.
  • Provide excellent customer service, effective communication, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Execute and maintain Private Marketplace and Programmatic Guaranteed deals, including data sales.
  • Collaborate with PMC Brand sales teams to capture programmatic revenue traditionally derived from IOs.
  • Promote PMC’s programmatic strategy internally and externally, staying current with ad tech trends.
  • Analyze buyer network trends to convert open exchange revenue into PMP/PG deals.
  • Communicate effectively with sales teams to understand and meet customer needs.
  • Achieve and surpass quarterly programmatic revenue targets.
  • Travel within the Midwest region as required.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in programmatic sales or account management.
  • Extensive online media sales and ad-tech experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the ad industry and programmatic ecosystem.
  • Strong agency contacts with influence over programmatic budgets.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and industry trend awareness.
  • Self-motivated team player and strategic thinker.
  • Understanding of DSPs, ATDs, SSPs, DMPs.

Salary range: $110k - $120k + bonus, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and wellness programs. PMC offers a supportive and inclusive work environment committed to employee well-being.
